The Irony In Sadness

I find irony in that beauty comes from broken hearts and tortured souls

When I'm at my lowest point, and I no longer wish to go on, my greatest work comes into being

I am no great wordsmith, not a true writer, or an acclaimed poet

But maybe these words mean something to someone, maybe my heart will reach someone in a brief moment

And perhaps, in that brief moment, two hearts may become one

In understanding, in love, and in hope
