Life Of A Content Creator | The Christian Reeve Podcast #184

I'm terrible at keeping up with diaries and blogs. I've tried many times, but I always forget to do so. But here I am, writing about this episode of the podcast.

The process of putting this show together was interesting because the topic was chosen by a follower/friend of mine - Pam. She's been a follower and friend of mine for about a year or so now, and has always been super supportive.

I'll always be grateful for that. When I had her appear on the podcast last year, it felt like an excellent way to say thank you to her, by showcasing everything that's great about her - from her fun life stories to her fantastic writing abilities.

But as always, I never feel like I can do enough to say thank you to people like Pam, because that belief they have in me, quite simply, is invaluable to me.

Fast forward to about a month or so ago, Pam subscribes to a special tier I have on my Patreon that enables followers to select a topic for the podcast. I was over the moon and excited about the challenge, but when she messaged me about it, I was a little confused about how to proceed.

Pam asked ''so what's it like being TikTok famous?'' and ''how does it feel to have people saying all these nice things about you?''. I laughed a little and then explained about how I'm not famous, and about how I greatly appreciate the little community we've built on the app.

But then I was left with a bit of a conundrum, what was the podcast going to be about? I threw around some angles and ideas in my head before I settled on discussing my journey as a content creator online - from the very beginning to the everyday things that are involved in the process.

In the end, I felt like it made for a good show. I think my favourite thing about this episode is the fact that I got to say thank you to Pam and to all of my followers, for always being so kind and supportive. This was a 'thank you' episode, with my thoughts, feelings, and experiences of being a content creator being the backdrop.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. Thanks for listening!

Christian
